May 17, 2006 - Walhall Eternity is releaseing a recording of Die Wlküre from Bayreuth 1955. This is not with Astrid Varnay as Brünnhilde, as in the version released by Testament, but with Martha Mödl as the Walküre and Varnay as Sieglinde.

May 2, 2006 - Walhall Eternity has released a previously unpublished recording of Tristan und Isolde from Metropolitan 1950 with Ramón Vinay and Helen Traubel.

April 26, 2006 - Chandos will release a Reginald Goodall conducted The Mastersingers of Nuremberg with Norman Bailey and the English National Orchestra.

April 26, 2006 - Swedish label Caprice has released a previously unpublished recording of Die Walküre from Stockholm 1955-56. The 3rd Act is from 1955 and it is Birgit Nilsson's debut as Brünnhilde.

April 25, 2006 - Naxos is releasing the Zagrosek Ring on CD, starting with Das Rheingold.

April 22, 2006 - The Bayreuth Ring from 1955 will finally be released, and it is announced as the first Ring recorded in stereo. Testament released Siegfried in February and will continue with the remaining parts later this year. Read more about it at www.testament.co.uk

April 22, 2006 - Testament is also releasing Der fliegende Holländer from Bayreuth the same year. It has previously been released, but this time it is in stereo. No release date is set
